We often find that many students who decide to take an exam suddenly become motivated, increase their practise and are more focussed in lessons. Of course exams are not for everyone but they can be a wonderful way improve your technique and confidence no matter what your age.

We encourage the ABRSM for the choice of music and requirements, however the other main exam board is Trinity College which some students prefer. We have a 100% pass rate for exams.

We also have several (very friendly!) local pianists who accompany and can give extra help for the aural component of exams, please ask for more details.
